Tired of the same old lactation cookie recipe?
This recipe is packed with healthy ingredients. The bonus is that many of them (like oats and flax seeds) are also considered galactagogues, so nursing mothers can make these as a treat to help boost milk supply.
I cup oats
1/2 cup cashews
4 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1 teaspoon flax seeds
2 teaspoons vanilla
Dash of salt
Pulse oats and cashews to combine, then add maple syrup and peanut butter. Pulse again, then add flax seeds, vanilla, and salt. Roll into balls and refrigerate until firm.
