Community Thanksgiving Potluck

October 29, 2022 by Arcelia Kent

Please join us for a plant-based seasonal celebration on Saturday, November 26 from 2pm-5pm at the Hal Holmes Center in Ellensburg. Recipe swapping, friendship forming, and second helpings highly encouraged!! Bring a friend or come alone and make some!

Bring a dish to share, along with any serving utensils it may require. Please be aware of any potential allergens your dish contains and label it appropriately upon your arrival.

Compostable plates, bowls, cups, and utensils will be available but it is highly encouraged to bring your own mess kit and a container for leftovers to reduce the environmental impact of this event.

We are hosting this potluck in the spirit of gratitude and celebration of community but strongly urge all attendees to educate themselves on decolonization and #landback.

Eburg Veg acknowledges that we gather on the traditional land of the Pshwanapum people and other bands and tribes of the Yakama Nation past and present. We honor with gratitude the land itself and the people who have stewarded it throughout the generations. This calls us to commit to continuing to learn how to be better stewards of the land we inhabit.

Julep Ellensburg is a breath of fresh air in our downtown bringing an upscale cocktail lounge into the beautifully remodeled space formerly occupied by The Soup Bowl Cafe & More. I am grateful for the clearly labeled menu and amazing vegan option
Sometimes being a vegan mom means throwing together an epic brunch. Fried potatoes with coconut milk and parsley, lavender black pepper gravy, tofu scramble curried with five spice, field roast sausage, and toast on @vinmans_bakery bread with avocado
Jonas and I finally made it out to @kittitascafe to try their vegan option. We were delighted that they use @vinmans_bakery sour dough for the avocado toast!
